Dr. J. Peter Rubin , is a renowned
plastic surgeon and Director of the Life After Weight
Loss Program at the University of Pittsburgh, Medical
Center, The Program specializes in body contouring for
weight loss surgery patients. Working in conjunction with
the UPMC Weight Management Center, the Life After
Weight Loss program also provides nutritional,
lifestyle counseling, and monthly support groups to help
patients maintain their new shape and reach new personal
goals.
Dr. Rubin is a graduate of Tufts
University and completed his residency at the Boston
University School of Medicine, Harvard University. He
currently serves as President of the International Fat
Applied Technology Society, a scientific society involved
in researching the use of discarded fat for stem cell
research.
